The African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, or the AME Zion Church or AMEZ, is a historically African-American Christian denomination based in the United States. It was officially formed in in New York City, but operated for a number of years before fication: Protestant. The Zion Chronicles series covers the events surrounding Israel's statehood in Each book vividly portrays the intense struggle of the Jewish people in the events that happened after WW2. The Gates of Zion, is a historical fiction that begins with a brief prologue set in Qumran, 68 C.E.. Jerusalem has just fallen to the Romans/5.

Zion's Camp was a Latter-day Saint expedition from Kirtland, Ohio, to Clay County, Missouri, during May and June The Mormon settlers in adjacent Jackson County, Missouri, had been driven out in the fall of by hostile non-Mormon elements, and the initial objective of Zion's Camp was to protect those settlers after the Missouri militia. Independence, MO: Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Press of Zion's Printing and Publishing Company), p. A burgundy cloth hardcover book in very good condition. Edges lightly rubbed. Endpapers tanned. Pages foxed, but otherwise unmarked, and binding tight. A Mormon more.

This expedition, known today as Zion’s Camp, was initially called the Camp of Israel. It was formed after Joseph Smith received a revelation in February commanding him to call up the strength of the Lord’s house to redeem Zion from its enemies. 1 The revelation instructed Church leaders to recruit at least , and preferably , men. The Trials of Zion is an unusual legal thriller. Middle-Eastern geopolitics, legal drama and a dangerous conspiracy make this a fun, intriguing thriller. However, Alan Dershowitz has written far more than a superficial thriller, it is also a subtle commentary on the Middle-East and Israels place in the world/5.
